Multiple Dogs Found in the City of Fremont
Within the past 72 hours, Animal Services has taken in five dogs from multiple locations throughout Fremont. All are of similar and were found in comparable unkempt condition, with no identification. Our officers believe they may be coming from the same person as this is a particularly unusual situation.
Two dogs were recovered near Quarry Lakes (with one additional dog still at large in that area and active efforts underway to locate it), one was found sheltering under a vehicle on North Grimmer, and two were recovered at Irvington Park. All dogs are estimated to be approximately four years old.
We are seeking any information regarding the individual or individuals who may be associated with these dogs. The animals are currently safe and are receiving appropriate care and medical attention. Animal Services can be contacted at 510-790-6635 or [email protected] .
