The male victim, 33, was walking in the listed area when the known suspect stopped his vehicle next to him. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and threatened to shoot him. The victim fled on foot and the suspect fled in his vehicle. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Robbery (2200) 600 Block of North Center Street, Civic District
The female victim, 43, was in the area with the known suspect. The suspect forcibly took the victim’s property before fleeing on a bicycle. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: White male adult.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2330) 8800 Block of Kelley Drive, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 28, went to an area residence where the suspect was causing a disturbance. The suspect struck the victim with a blunt object. The victim self-transported to an area hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located and arrested the suspect without incident. ARRESTED: Joseph Rodriguez, 27, for assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing.
4. Person Shot (0100) Henry Long Boulevard and Canyon Way, Seaport District
The male victim, 26, was in his vehicle in the listed area when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect shot the victim and fled. The victim self-transported to an area hospital, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Unknown race or age male.
5. Pursuit Arrest (0108) Carolyn Weston Boulevard and John Townsend Place, Seaport District
Officers attempted to stop a reported stolen vehicle. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a brief pursuit before abandoning the vehicle and fleeing on foot. Officers caught up to the suspect, who punched one of the officers. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. The officer was uninjured. ARRESTED: Benjamin Seeman, 19, for auto theft, possession of stolen property, battery on an officer, resisting arrest, and pursuit charges.
