Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 01-11-2026 at 2009 hours, his deputies responded to a car versus pedestrian crash on Huntly Rd near Reese Dr, Howard Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Stephanie Clark (36 years old from Berrien Center MI), was travelling south on Huntly Rd when she struck a male wearing all dark clothing walking southbound in the lane of travel. The male was identified as Jordan Gillaspy (21 years old from Niles MI). Gillaspy was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting agencies on scene were SMCAS, Howard Township Fire Department, Michigan State Police.
