Activity for January 9-11, 2026: Officers were dispatched to 232 calls for service, made 11 arrests, and conducted 56 traffic stops.

January 9, 2026:
- Officer Richardson was dispatched to the 100 block of North Elm Avenue for a malicious destruction of property report. A 28-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation and malicious destruction of property.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Gilbert Street for a breaking and entering that had just occurred. A 47-year-old female was arrested for breaking and entering and resisting and obstructing.
- Officer Tripp conducted a field contact on East Porter Street. A 16-year-old male was transported to the Calhoun County Youth Center for an outstanding warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to Page Avenue/Sweet Avenue for a possible hit and run. A 23-year-old male was arrested for operating while intoxicated – 1st offense.
January 10, 2026:
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to Home Deport for a shoplifting in progress. A 36-year-old male was trespassed from the store, all items were returned, and charges are being sought.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of North Waterloo Avenue for a felonious assault that had just occurred. A 29-year-old male was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants.
- Officer Frazier was dispatched to the 1000 block of Adrian Avenue for a domestic situation. A 20-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault- 1st offense.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no insurance on Wall Street. A 27-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Tenney was dispatched to the 200 block of Third Street for a personal protection order violation. A 31-year-old male was arrested for the PPO violation.
- Officer Frazier observed an individual he knew to have an outstanding warrant outside of the Foundry. A 27-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Tenney was dispatched to the 400 block of West Biddle Street for an unauthorized driving away of an automobile report. The vehicle was entered into LEIN and Flock.
January 11, 2026:
- Officer Tenney was dispatched to the 400 block of West Biddle Street for the recovery of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was removed from LEIN and Flock.
- Officer Soloman was dispatched to the area of Heather Lane for a stolen vehicle. Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle, and she determined the vehicle was no longer stolen. The vehicle was removed from LEIN and Flock.
- Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Greenwood Avenue for a vehicle driving reckless in the area. A 24-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing, operating while intoxicated – 2nd offense, driving with license suspended, open intoxication, and an outstanding warrant.
- Officer Tenney conducted a field contact in the area of Plymouth Street and South Elm Avenue. A 34-year-old male was arrested for parole violation.
