Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Marshall Moreira, 32, of Hillside, wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
At approximately 12:35 p.m., Police responded to Patten Place near Wolcott Terrace on a call of shots fired. Responding Officers did not locate any victims, but observed a spent shell casing at the location of the firearm discharge.
Detectives investigating this incident seek Mr. Moreira for questioning.
