INCIDENT: PC 187 – Murder
LOCATION: 19000 Block of Kendall Drive, San Bernardino
SUSPECT: Omar Antonio Mejia Ceron, 38-years-old, Resident of Beaumont
VICTIM: Adult male, (Deceased), Pending Next of Kin Notification
SUMMARY: On Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 9:19 a.m., deputies from the Central Station responded to a call for service involving a deceased subject in the 19000 block of Kendall Drive. Deputies arrived and located the decedent, who appeared to have been shot.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
Persons present at the location of the death were interviewed as part of the investigation, and a suspect was subsequently identified.
Omar Antonia Mejia Ceron was arrested for violation of California Penal Code 187 and is being held without bail at the Central Detention Center.
