MONDAY, JANUARY 5, 2025:
5:22 AM Officer Stevenson responded to a window smash vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road. The loss is unknown at this time.
8:22 AM Officer Lomeli responded to multiple vehicle burglaries reported near Balentine Dr & Stevenson Blvd.
8:32 AM Officer Shaffer responded to a report of a suspicious person near Cedar Blvd & Moores Ave. A 28-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
5:38 PM Officer Lomeli investigated a shoplifting incident reported near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave. Loss of consumables.
11:15 PM Officer Ansari responded to a fire lit by unknown individuals near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 6, 2025:
6:51 AM Officers responded to several vehicle burglaries reported throughout the city. Reported losses included tools and industrial equipment.
8:39 AM Officer Quinonez responded to a report of trespassing on Newpark Mall Road. A 43-year-old male was arrested for battery. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
11:47 AM Officer Lomeli investigated a vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road. Reported loss included a bag containing electronics.
3:05 PM Officer Pacheco investigated a report of mail theft from a community mailbox near Grasshopper Ave & Cherry St.
4:17 PM Officer Orozco investigated a vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road.
5:01 PM Officer Lomeli investigated a residential burglary near Buena Vista Dr & Parada St. A storage unit lock was cut off and various tools were missing from the unit.
9:33 PM Officer Ansari was dispatched to a vehicle vandalism near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave. A 56-year-old female was arrested for vandalism and possession of narcotics. She was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
11:44 PM Officer Cervantes investigated a vehicle burglary near Lido Blvd & Jarvis Ave. Tools were reported taken.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2025:
9:31 AM Officer Shaffer conducted a pedestrian stop near Cedar & Stevenson Boulevards. A 42-year-old male was cited for possession of narcotics and an outstanding warrant.
7:32 PM Officer Ansari responded to a shoplifting in progress near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd. A vehicle was recovered and towed for investigation.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 8, 2025:
2:20 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau investigated a package theft reported near Central Ave & Newark Blvd.
9:30 PM Officer Orozco responded to a fight reported on Newpark Mall Road. A 44-year-old female was arrested for battery. She was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 9, 2025:
7:22 AM Officer Berlanga investigated a theft of utilities reported near Buena Vista Dr & Cherry St.
9:29 AM Officer Medina recovered a stolen vehicle near Dairy Ave & Mulberry St.
11:32 AM Officer C. Torres conducted a welfare check near Gateway Blvd & Jarvis Ave. A 55-year-old male and 36-year-old female were cited for various narcotics violations.
7:33 PM Officer Benjamin responded to a suspicious person reported near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 46-year-old male was cited for possession of narcotics.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 10, 2025:
2:35 AM Officer Kim investigated a hit and run collision into a pole near Cherry St & Mowry Ave. The vehicle was located, and an 18-year-old male was cited during the investigation.
4:08 AM Officer Soto investigated a vandalism reported near Joaquin Murieta Ave & Cedar Blvd.
3:52 PM Officer Jou responded to a report of threats and brandishing near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave. A 44-year-old male was cited for possession of narcotics and resisting arrest.
6:37 PM While on patrol, Officer Stevenson came upon an unreported collision near Sycamore St & Central Ave. A 33-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
9:33 PM Officer Losier responded to a disturbance reported near Cedar Blvd & Thornton Ave. A 22-year-old male was cited for public intoxication.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 11, 2025:
8:08 AM Officer S. Torres conducted a pedestrian stop near Thornton Ave & Sycamore St. A 53-year-old male was cited for an outstanding warrant.
8:29 PM Officer Felix investigated a report of multiple unauthorized credit card transactions.
