Winter Weather Advisory until 09:00AM Thursday

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph. Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less at times.

* WHERE...Central Aleutians (Adak and Atka).

* WHEN...From 9 AM Wednesday to 9 AM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow and drifting snow could significantly reduce visibility and lead to difficult travel conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blowing snow may reduce visibilities to as low as one-half mile at times, but blizzard conditions are unlikely as temperatures will be close to freezing. The latest forecast has the storm lingering in the area through as late as Thursday night, so there is a chance this Advisory may be extended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CENTRAL ALEUTIANS
