Winter Storm Watch until 06:00AM Friday

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches possible. Northerly winds could gust as high as 40-50 mph. Visibilities may be reduced to one-half mile or less at times.

* WHERE...Southern Alaska Peninsula, including False Pass, Cold Bay, King Cove, Sand Point, and Nelson Lagoon.

* WHEN...From late tonight through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Two back-to-back storms will bring snow and gusty winds beginning late tonight. While there is uncertainty with the track of these storms, the strongest winds and worst blowing snow will likely be from Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHERN ALASKA PENINSULA
