Zone 6/Teen Center of Highland Park invites Borough youth to participate in '24 Hours of Action!' to mark Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birthday, Sunday January 18th through Monday January 19th.
The 24 hour series of activities will start at 3:00 pm on Sun Jan 18th at Zone 6 and include a welcome session, viewings of the films Malcolm X and Selma, meditation sessions, a town wide clean up, a reading and discussion of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s 'I have a dream' speech, conversations with speakers from the NAACP and the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, catered dinner and breakfast, and more.The activities will conclude at 3:00 pm on Mon Jan 19th.
