REMINDER: The Hoboken Inauguration Ceremony is tomorrow; Tickets sold out; Join the Library watch party
The inauguration ceremony for Mayor-elect Emily B. Jabbour, Councilman-elect Steve Firestone, Councilwoman-elect Caitlin Layson, and Councilman Joe Quintero will take place on tomorrow, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. at the DeBaun Auditorium, located at 24 Fifth St.
Tickets for the inauguration ceremony are sold out and required for entry. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to allow sufficient time for the check-in. Large bags and backpacks will not be permitted inside the venue.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to walk, bike, use public transportation, or take the Red Hop which can be tracked using PassioGo at https://hoboken.passiogo.com/. Street parking is expected to be extremely limited.
Fifth Street will be closed from Hudson Street east beginning at 8 a.m. Community members are advised to observe all temporary no-parking signs posted along Fifth Street and River Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets. Police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic flow.

The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Public Library are hosting an Inauguration Watch Party in the Large Program Room on the lower level of the Hoboken Public Library, located at 500 Park Ave. at 1 p.m. on Jan. 15.
Community members are encouraged to attend and gather for light refreshments while viewing the live-streamed inauguration ceremony. All are welcome to attend.
