VEHICLE BREAK-INS

Dear Community Partners,

As part of the Plymouth Township Police Department’s ongoing commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of all community partners, we are wanting to inform you of a recent crime trend.

Sometime in the early morning of Wednesday, January 14th, many residents that live in LakePointe, Beacon Trail, and Trailwood were victims of vehicle break-ins (larceny from auto). The suspects targeted vehicles that were unlocked and items of value were stolen.

Plymouth Township Detectives are actively and aggressively working to identify the individuals responsible for these crimes. If you wish to share Ring video, please send the link to D/Sgt Hayes at [email protected]. The Department’s Patrol Division will increase our patrol presence in the neighborhoods.

The Police Department is seeking your assistance and support by locking and removing valuables from your parked vehicle. Please remain vigilant in your neighborhoods and report suspicious activity to the police department. For non-emergency police needs, please contact the Plymouth Township Police Department’s Dispatch Center at 734-354-3250.

The Plymouth Township Police Department would like to thank you for your partnership, and we look forward to working together to ensure the safety of our community.

Sincerely,

James Knittel

Chief of Police
