High Wind Warning until 12:00PM Friday

* WHAT...Southeast winds 40 to 60 mph with gusts up to 85 mph expected.

* WHERE...Anchorage Hillside and higher elevations of Eagle River.

* WHEN...From 3 PM Thursday to noon AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will strengthen through the day Thursday, then peak between 3pm and 7pm. Wind gusts will then temporarily diminish to around 45 to 60 mph Thursday evening. Winds will then strengthen again overnight with a second peak in winds expected late Thursday night through Friday morning.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ANCHORAGE HILLSIDE / EAGLE RIVER
