* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Southern Alaska Peninsula, including False Pass, Cold Bay, King Cove, Sand Point, and Nelson Lagoon.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Thursday to 4 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Most of the precipitation in expected to be snow, but there could be some freezing rain mixed in at times.
