Advisory

Special Weather Statement until 06:00AM Friday

A quick moving system will track across central Indiana after 200 AM tonight...through early morning Friday. A quick half inch to one inch of snowfall is expected to accumulate over most areas...with locally higher amounts over northern counties. Additional snow showers are expected late Friday afternoon into the early evening...with the potential for brief moderate to heavy snow squalls over localized areas. Highly variable snowfall amounts over short distances will be as high as one to two inches...with associated visibility reductions amid brief heavy snow and strong wind gusts impacting the evening commute in some areas. If traveling, be alert for rapidly changing conditions in short distances. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination. Do not crowd snowplows.
