LOCATION: 14000 Block of Valley Center Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Preston Tran, 37-year-old Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Friday, January 2, 2026, deputies from the Victorville Police Station responded to a report of a theft at the Harley Davidson store located in the 14000 block of Valley Center Drive, Victorville.
During the investigation, deputies conducted multiple interviews and determined that various Harley Davidson tools and equipment had been stolen, with an estimated value of approximately $ 50,000. Through investigative efforts, deputies identified the suspect as Preston Tran, a former employee of the business.
On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, deputies served a search warrant at Tran’s residence. During the search, deputies recovered over $32,000 worth of stolen Harley Davidson property. The recovered property was returned to the Harley Davidson store in Victorville.
Preston Tran was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 487(B)(3) – Grand Theft by Employee, P.C. 496(A) – Receiving Stolen Property, P.C. 33215 - Possession or Sale of Short-Barreled Rifles and Sawed-off Shotguns.
