LOCATION: 10000 block of Arrowhead Road, Phelan
SUSPECT: Bernie Palomino Godinez, age of 38, resident of Hesperia

SUMMARY:
On Thursday, January 15, 2025, at approximately 7:00 pm, deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 10000 block of Arrowhead Road in Phelan.
Deputies arrived at the location and learned the suspect, Bernie Palomino Godinez, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and attempted to hit her with a glass bottle.
During the investigation, deputies located Palomino Godinez in a vehicle near the residence. As deputies attempted contact, Palomino Godinez fled the location in the vehicle, resulting in a brief pursuit. The pursuit concluded after deputies utilized a controlled vehicle intervention, rendering the vehicle disabled.
Following the stop, Palomino Godinez initially refused deputies commands to exit the vehicle. The deputies were able to safely remove Palomino Godinez from the vehicle where he was detained and transported to the High Desert Detention Center.
