The Town is closely monitoring today's weather forecast and road conditions, and has deployed DPW crews to salt main roadways and known problem areas. Public Works is also in the process of shoveling Town-owned sidewalks, which include those at the train station, parks, Town Hall, and the Fire Department.
Plowing operations are not anticipated at this time with the current predicted snowfall totals. If conditions change and plowing becomes necessary, an additonal Nixle alert will be sent out.
Residents and downtown business owners are reminded to clear all sidewalks, as temperatures are expected to stay below freezing and additional snow is in the forecast for tomorrow.
