A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for tomorrow (Sunday, Jan. 18th) from 7:00am until 8:00pm. Snow is expected with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches possible. There is also a Special Weather Statement in effect now until 4:00am warning of potenial black ice.
During the snow storm today and in less than 2 hours, Leonia Police Department responded to 10 motor vehicle accidents and 2 motorist assist calls (vehicles stuck in the snow). Please plan ahead for tomorrow's storm and limit driving if possible. We also ask that you move vehicles from snow emergency streets now before the storm. Thank you and be safe.
