Police investigate a fatal shooting.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on January 17, 2026, officers responded to a report of a shooting inside a residence located in the 1300 block of S. 10th Street involving multiple victims.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male and an 18-year-old female who had both sustained gunshot wounds. Officers and emergency medical personnel immediately rendered aid to both victims. The 19-year-old male was transported to Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, where lifesaving efforts were made; however, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The 18-year-old female was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital for emergent care and subsequently transferred to a hospital in Green Bay.

The suspects fled the scene prior to our arrival. The investigation remains ongoing, and officers are actively working to identify all individuals involved. Preliminary information indicates that all parties involved were known to one another and that this was an isolated incident. There is no known threat to the public.

The Sheboygan Police Department wishes the female victim a full and speedy recovery and extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
