1. Kidnapping Arrest (2130) 700 Block of Bristol Avenue, Civic District
Officers responded to investigate a possible kidnapping involving the female victim, 27 and later located the known suspect and victim in Lodi. The suspect was armed and refused to obey commands to surrender. Force was used to take him into custody. The victim was uninjured and the suspect received medical attention for minor injuries at an area hospital. ARRESTED: Clarence Lofton, 25, for kidnapping, resisting arrest, and weapon charges.
2. Person Stabbed (2334) 1300 Block of East Scotts Avenue, Park District
The male victim, 53, was arguing with the suspect when the suspect stabbed him. The victim was treated at an area hospital for his injuries. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
