LOCATION: Glen Canyon Lane and Burwood Avenue, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): Jeremy Rosales, 14-year-old Male Juvenile, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Friday, January 16, 2026, at about 8:21 p.m., Sheriff’s Dispatch received numerous calls for service after multiple shots were heard near Glen Canyon Lane and Burwood Avenue, in Victorville. Deputies arrived and located Jeremy Rosales, a 14-year-old male, in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. Rosales was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded and assumed the investigation.
