Wolf Sightings 
Recently there has been an increase in Wolf sighting in and around Skagway. Please report all Wolf sighting to the police department, please take note of color and number of Wolves seen. There is an increased public safety risk with the Wolves venturing close to town and homes on or near the Dyea Road, we are actively monitoring their movements and behavior for signs of aggression. Wolves associated with a pack pose an increased danger more so than a single Wolf passing through. Please be extra careful when outdoors and keep a close eye on your children and pets.
