School Bus Driver Finds Toddler Alone in Roadway and Calls Police; Parents Arrested

SUSPECT 1: Dantion Green McGuire, 34-years-old, Resident of Loma Linda
SUSPECT 2: Monae Myers, 36-years-old, Resident of Loma Linda

SUMMARY: On Thursday, January 15, 2026, at about 4:17 p.m., a school bus driver located a two-year-old child unattended in the roadway and remained on scene until deputies arrived. Deputies determined the child resided in the area of Taylor Street, in Loma Linda, and conducted a welfare check at the residence.
During the welfare check, deputies observed multiple firearms and narcotics within reach of the two-year-old child and several older siblings. The father at the residence was identified as Dantion Green McGuire, and the mother was identified as Monae Myers.
Based on these observations, deputies obtained and served a search warrant for the residence and arrested McGuire and Myers. Both were booked in at the Central Detention Center, in San Bernardino.
