REMINDER - All dog / cat licenses are due 1/31/2026. Renewal forms were mailed the end of December. Please note there is an *ADDITIONAL $5 LATE FEE beginning February 1st, and a $25 LATE FEE beginning March 1st. Letters will then go out from TYCO Animal Control mid-March followed by summonses in April if still not paid.

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 8:23A-4.2, to issue a dog license, the pet owner must first supply to the dog licensing clerk a rabies vaccination certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian indicating that the animal’s duration of immunity extends throughout at least the first ten months of the twelve-month licensing period. Animals that have duration of immunity which expires prior to the ten-month cut-off must receive a booster rabies vaccination prior to licensure. Dogs six (6) months of age may receive their first rabies shot, a one-year vaccine, please consult your vet. Bolstering the animal’s immunity before expiration of the previous vaccination has not been associated with an increased occurrence of adverse reactions
