Activity for January 20, 2026:
- Officer Fitzpatrick responded to the 300 block of West Wesley Street for a warrant arrest. A 22-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Beekel was dispatched to the 400 block of South West Avenue for a personal welfare check.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop near Barberry Drive and Merriman Street, and the vehicle fled. Officers were able to identify the suspect. Fleeing and eluding charges will be sought on the 48-year-old female driver.
- Officer S. Smith and Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Mechanic Street. Officers recovered over $3,500 worth of stolen merchandise from the vehicle. A 33-year-old male was arrested for receiving and concealing stolen property, and using fraudulent identification cards to commit a felony over $1,000.
