Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on drug charges.
On January 17th at approximately 11:00 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division observed 34-year-old Terrance Waters in the 400 block of West 7th Street. Officers confirmed Waters was currently wanted for an outstanding warrant out of the Wilmington Police Department. Officers made contact with Waters and took him into custody without incident. Officers recovered 18 grams of marijuana, 95 pills of Oxycodone, 47 pills of Ecstasy, 15 pills of Percocet and $424 in currency.
Waters has been charged with following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrant:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver-Tier 2 (Two Counts)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of a Controlled Substance- Tier 2 (Two Counts)
- Possession of a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $29,100 secured-bail.
