* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 35 degrees below zero expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills of 40 to 55 degrees below zero expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 degrees below zero possible.

* WHERE...Crow Wing, Aitkin, Cass, Itasca, Carlton, South and Central St. Louis, Southern Cook and Southern Lake Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation, the Fond du Lac Band, the Mille Lacs Band, Big Sandy Lake and, East Lake areas and the Bois Forte Band, Deer Creek and, Lake Vermilion areas.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight tonight to 3 PM CST Thursday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 3 PM Thursday to 11 AM CST Friday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Friday evening through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills of 40 to 55 degrees below zero can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.
