** Weather Advisory **

The Little Egg Harbor Police Department is closely monitoring the winter storm anticipated for this weekend. This weather event has a high probability of bringing significant snow, sleet, and rain to our area. Please review the following reminders to ensure you remain prepared and safe:

- Prepare Your Vehicles: Please move vehicles off the roadway so plows can effectively clear the streets. Consider raising your wiper blades and backing into your driveway to make clearing your windshield and exiting easier.

- Stock Up on Essentials: Purchase necessary groceries and supplies early to avoid the rush. Ensure your vehicles are fueled, snow blowers or shovels are ready, and electronic devices and flashlights are fully charged in the event of power outages.

- Limit Travel: Roads may become slippery and dangerous during and immediately after the storm. Please refrain from driving unless absolutely necessary.

During severe weather events, police dispatch is often inundated with calls for service.  Please refrain from calling dispatch unless you are experiencing an emergency.
