ESCONDIDO, California – A motorcyclist was killed Thursday morning when he collided with a flatbed semi tractor-trailer in the intersection of Meyers Avenue and Barham Drive in western Escondido.
            The crash occurred at about 10:40 a.m., and the intersection was shut down for several hours during the investigation.
            Investigators with the Escondido Police Department and the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office on Thursday evening were working to identify the rider and notify his family, as well as determine the cause of the crash.

ESCONDIDO, California – Un motociclista falleció el jueves por la manana al chocar con un camión de plataforma en la intersección de Meyers Avenue y Barham Drive, en el oeste de Escondido.
El accidente ocurrió alrededor de las 10:40 a.m., y la intersección permaneció cerrada durante varias horas mientras se realizaba la investigación.
El jueves por la noche, los investigadores del Departamento de Policía de Escondido y la Oficina del Médico Forense del Condado de San Diego trabajaban para identificar al motociclista, notificar a su familia y determinar la causa del accidente.
