Three Arrested in Lululemon Retail Theft Investigation

The trio were taken into custody during an active theft involving approximately $1400 in merchandise.
 
San Mateo, CA – On January 21, 2026, at approximately 1:04 p.m., San Mateo Police Department officers responded to Lululemon on a report of theft in progress. Three suspects were observed on surveillance footage allegedly working together to conceal multiple store items in bags, then attempted to flee the store without paying for the items.
 
The suspects, identified as Cameran Hicks, Shauntrise Hill, and Omar Mathis, were detained by officers as they exited the store, and were found with approximately $1,400 worth of Lululemon merchandise in their possession, which was unpaid for. All three were arrested for grand theft and conspiracy to commit a crime (felony) and transported to the San Mateo County Jail where they were booked on their charges.
 
The San Mateo Police Department encourages community members to report crime and suspicious activity. If you see something, say something, and contact your local law enforcement agency as soon as it is safe to do so.
