Impending Snowstorm Advisory

A major winter storm is currently forecast to impact our area from Saturday through Sunday. Depending on the storm’s track, significant snowfall accumulations of 12 inches or more are possible.
Preparedness will be critical. Residents are encouraged to ensure they have an adequate supply of essential items, including food, water, and required medications, sufficient for several days. Please also take time to secure or properly stow loose yard items to prevent them from becoming hazards due to high winds.
There will be no street parking during the storm. All vehicles must be parked on private property to allow for safe and effective snow removal operations. Vehicle can be parked at Mease park in town.
Residents should also be prepared for the possibility of power outages. Have flashlights, batteries, and emergency food supplies readily available.
