Ice Storm Warning until 06:00PM Sunday

* WHAT...Total ice accumulations around a tenth to up to a half inch possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 6 PM Saturday to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible.

* AFFECTED AREAS: VERNON ... RAPIDES ... AVOYELLES ... BEAUREGARD ... ALLEN ... EVANGELINE ... TYLER ... HARDIN ... NORTHERN JASPER ... NORTHERN NEWTON ... SOUTHERN JASPER ... SOUTHERN NEWTON

Persons are urged to stay indoors until conditions improve. If you must go outside, dress in layers. Several layers of clothes will keep you warmer than a single heavy coat.
