State of Emergency Declaration
- The City of Saluda has officially declared a State of Emergency due to Winter Storm Fern. This measure aims to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
Emergency Shelter Information
- Polk County has designated the Saluda Center at 64 Greenville Street as an Emergency Shelter for the Saluda area. The shelter will be available starting tomorrow, January 24th, at 8:00 AM.
City Office Closures
- Please note that the City of Saluda Offices will be closed on Monday, January 26th, in response to the winter storm. Should you need any services, please call 828-749-2581 where an answering service will assist you.
Reporting Fallen Trees and Assistance
- During Winter Storm Fern, if you need to report a fallen tree due to ice or if you would like assistance from the Polk County Community Paramedic, please call 828-722-5278.
Information During Power Outages
- In the event of widespread power outages in the Saluda area, important information will be posted on a Whiteboard at the front of City Hall, located at 6 E Main Street, Saluda, NC 28773.
