Winter storm advisory #3...
With the weather event approaching, the Town of Tryon has confirmed that our vehicles, equipment, and utility station generators are topped off and ready to go. Our Police, Fire, and Public works departments have been meeting every day since Tuesday in preparation for the storm and have a staffing plan in place. We will be closing off the tops of Maple, Oak, and Pacolet streets on Saturday evening. Access to White Oak Manor will still be available via Palmer Street. We highly recommend that residents stay indoors and keep off of the roads once the wintry mix starts falling Saturday evening. Emergency Shelters will be located at the Senior Center in Columbus , 75 Carmel Lane, as well as the Senior Center in Saluda at 64 Greeneville St. Please reference the links below for additional information.
