As most of you are aware, a predicted severe snow storm is tracking towards the metropolitan area. The worst of the snowfall is expected to start in the early morning hours of Sunday. Please use caution if you must venture out, and drive safe!
The declaration of a Town-wide snow emergency is still being considered. If the emergency is declared, all vehicles parked along pre-designated snow emergency routes must be moved. If not moved in a timely fashion, vehicles will be subject to ticketing and/or towing.
Keeping these designated roadways free of parked vehicles will help DPW tremendously in their plowing operations.
