WINTER WEATHER EMERGENCY DECLARATION
 
Based on National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning information, I hereby declare a Winter Weather Emergency for Shippensburg Borough beginning on January 24, 2026, at 8:00 P.M. until January 25, 2026, at 8:00 pm.  Ticketing and towing vehicles will begin on January 25, 2026, at 4:00 AM.
 
This declaration prohibits parking on Earl Street, Burd Street, King Street, Orange Street, and North Prince Streets, the north side of Fort Street, and the inner loop of Stewart Place.
 
Public parking lots are available at the Firefighters Activity Center - 35 W Orange Street, West Burd Street - 60 West Burd Street, Memorial Park and Borough of Shippensburg Office lot - 111 N Fayette Street.
