Local State Of Emergency for the Town of Newburgh 
Due to the impending severe winter storm that poses threat to life and property, Newburgh Town Supervisor Gil Piaquadio has declared a Local State of Emergency on travel starting Sunday January 25th, 2026 at 12:00 am until Tuesday January 27th, 2026 at 12:00 am.
To ensure safety, only emergency personnel, essential employees and emergency travel are permitted on the roadways during this winter storm.
