INCIDENT: PC 459 – Residential Burglary
LOCATION: 13000 block of 2nd Street, Yucaipa, California
SUSPECT(S): Patrick Grady Alexander, 53-years-old, Resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies from the Yucaipa Station responded to a residence located on the 13000 block of 2nd Street, in Yucaipa, for a male adult suspect, later postively identified as Patrick Alexander, hiding in the victim's backyard.
During the investigation, deputies learned Alexander entered his neighbor's residence through their juvenile daughter's bedroom window.
Alexander fled after the juvenile victim woke and discovered him reaching inside her bedroom window trying to touch her leg. The victim ran and notified her parents that there was a man outside her window attempting to get in. The father of the victim found Alexander hiding in their backyard and detained him for authorities. After arriving on scene, deputies learned Alexander resides next door to the victim's residence and had opened the victim's bedroom window using a tool that deputies found on his person.
Yucaipa detectives assisted depuites at the scene and a search warrant was authored and served to collect additional evidence inside Alexander's residence.
Alexander was arrested for PC459 - Residential Burglary and was booked into the Central Detention Center where he is being held on a $100,000 bail. The investation is still ongoing and pending potential additional charges.
