Severe Weather Shelter Open Saturday and Sunday Night

Due to freezing temperatures, the Severe Weather Shelter will be open Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25. The shelter is located at the Senior Community Center, 370 Brien Ave. SE. Shelter residents must check in between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. 

To request a ride to the shelter, submit a request online at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf7C0o17fLvRvcdE9j4McMtLjBOloW_ojsjahLNvaapYYh3EA/viewform or if you are unable to request a ride online, call (206) 659-6946.
 
If anyone needs assistance after hours, they must call 911 and have a police/fire escort to check into an activated shelter.

The City Emergency Manager is monitoring the forecast will activate the Severe Weather Shelter for additional nights if necessary.
