The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING and COLD WEATHER ADVISORY in effect for BRIGANTINE 
**A major winter storm is expected to begin impacting the area Saturday night, continuing through early Monday afternoon, Temperatures plunge overnight to 12 degress, wind chill factor of -3**
Expected Storm Impacts:
Tonight, through Tuesday: winds 20-30 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph, light to moderate freezing spray. Air temperatures will persist in the 10s and 20s through Thursday. Potential of ice development in the tidal and back-bay areas similar to January 2018.
Saturday Night: Snow develops mainly after 1:00 AM, heavy at times. Low around 18°F. North wind 5–10 mph.
Sunday: Snow (heavy at times) before the changeover to a wintry mix around 1:00 PM, then mainly rain around 4:00 PM until about 1:00 AM, then change back to freezing rain early Monday morning. High near 39°F with east winds 15–25 mph (breezy).
Monday: Snow / rain mix before 7:00 AM, then mostly cloudy. High near 33°F, breezy.
TOTAL expected snow accumulation 6–8", ice up to 0.30" possible
