Full Notification

Due to the significant snow accumulation expected the Macungie Mayor has declared a snow emergency to begin Saturday, January 24, 2026 and remain until further notice. All vehicles must be removed from posted snow emergency routes. The Macungie Borough Hall lot is open for public parking, the Flower Park lot will be available for public parking. The Macungie Institute lot will be available for public parking. 
We ask that you not throw snow back onto the street when shoveling. Our public works will be attempting to remove as much snow as possible to accommodate those who don't have yards to put the snow in. Please pass this information on to your neighbors who may not receive our Nixle messages.
