Snowfall totals of 10 to 14 inches are expected. Freezing temperatures are also anticipated, which will significantly impact travel conditions. Residents are strongly advised to avoid ALL non-essential travel during this period and remain indoors whenever possible.
Emergency No Parking:
Pursuant to Borough of Haledon Resolution 2026-034, due to the anticipated snowfall and out of an abundance of caution, Emergency No Parking will be in effect on both sides of the street on the following borough roadways while snow-covered:
Ford Road
Cypress Avenue
Paterson Avenue
Ryerson Avenue
Albanese Road
Residents are asked to park vehicles in their driveways to allow Department of Public Works (DPW) crews to safely and efficiently plow these streets. Emergency No Parking signs will be posted stating: “Emergency No Parking When Snow Covered.”
Important Reminders to Haledon Residents:
Snow Removal: All snow, including snow on sidewalks and vehicles, must be cleared within 24 hours after the snowfall ends, in accordance with the Haledon Municipal Code. Failure to comply may result in a summons.
