The male victim, 24, was working at an area business when the suspect stole merchandise. When the victim confronted the suspect, she pulled out a knife and threatened to stab him. The suspect fled on foot but was located by officers. The suspect ran from the officers, and force was used to take her into custody. ARRESTED: Michaela Potts, 29, for robbery, resisting, and weapon charges.
2. Resisting Arrest (1259) 5300 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers were at a business in the listed area when a suspect shoplifted. Officers attempted to contact the suspect, but he fled. Officers chased the suspect and apprehended him after a short foot pursuit. ARRESTED: Dalano Johnson, 27, for shoplifting, conspiracy, possession of stolen property, and resisting arrest.
3. Pursuit Arrest (1323) 4900 Block of Claremont Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a theft at a business in the listed area. Officers located the suspect vehicle and attempted an enforcement stop. The driver failed to yield and led officers on a short pursuit, which ended when the suspect collided with the median. One of the suspects resisted arrest, and force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Cedrick Tate, 58, for resisting arrest, burglary, and traffic charges. Juanita Dixon, 60, for traffic charges and burglary.
