A Message from Middle Township Mayor Christopher Leusner
An important message for Middle Township residents from Mayor Christopher Leusner. A winter storm warning is an effect for our area from tonight, through Monday morning. Snow is expected to begin late this evening, with the heaviest snow and most hazardous travel conditions occurring through Sunday. The forecast calls for a transition to sleet, and then rain during the day on Sunday. Which could create very icy conditions as temperatures fall Sunday night.
I'm asking all residents to please remove vehicles from township roadways by this evening, and keep them off the street, so our public works crews can safely and effectively plow. Travel tonight through Monday morning, especially during the day on Sunday, will be very difficult or dangerous due to the snow. Possible low visibility and icy conditions. So please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Please also check on elderly neighbors or anyone who may need assistance, as dangerous cold is expected to continue throughout the week.
For ongoing updates, monitor the Middle Township Police Department Facebook page, the Middle Township Government Facebook page, our website, and local news. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep Middle Township safe.
