In addition to the State of Emergency issued yesterday by Governor Sherrill, a local State of Emergency has been issued by the Fairfield Office of Emergency Management beginning at 7pm tonight. As a reminder, there will be no street parking permitted at any time starting tonight at 7pm until the local State of Emergency is lifted.
That information will be provided by the Fairfield Office of Emergency Management via Nixle and social media once the snow has been removed after the storm.
Any vehicle that is not removed from the roadway after 7pm tonight will be subject to ticket and/or tow per Fairfield local ordinance 7-7.3.
