Weather & Roadway Safety Reminder City of Farmersville
While the sun may be out, road conditions remain hazardous throughout the city. 
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is actively managing the roadways, however ice is still present and extremely difficult to see and treat in some areas.
If you must travel:

Please leave plenty of distance between vehicles

Do not attempt to pass TxDOT crews while they are treating the roadways

Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle, including water and blankets
Please do not get a false sense of security due to improved visibility — travel conditions are still dangerous.
We encourage everyone to continue checking on vulnerable family members, neighbors, and those who may need assistance.
