PUBLIC NOTICE – City of Sonora
 
Due to severe winter weather conditions, City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.
 
City staff will continue to monitor weather and road conditions, and City Hall is expected to reopen on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, during regular business hours, pending any changes in conditions.
 
Essential personnel, including on-call staff, will remain available to respond to call-out situations as needed.
 
Please note:

•  Police services will not be disrupted
• Animal Control services will continue during this period

Additionally, the Sonora Independent School District and Sutton County offices will also be closed during this time.
 
We appreciate the public’s cooperation and encourage everyone to remain safe and avoid unnecessary travel.
