An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect through Monday morning. Expect freezing rain, very cold temperatures, and wind chills between -5°F and -15°F. Please take precautions and stay warm. Prolonged exposure to low wind chills can lead to hypothermia. Please remember to dress in layers and limit your time outdoors whenever possible. Arcola emergency responders and staff are closely monitoring road conditions. Emergency planners continue to coordinate efforts with TxDOT and local officials.
