Gloucester Township Police, and area police departments, have received an influx of call for service for vehicles stuck on the icy roadways, as the weather has changed from snow to sleet, and possibly icy rain later.
New Jersey State, Camden County, and Gloucester Township Public Works crews are actively working to clear and treat roadways, but unnecessary traffic is making it difficult for plows and salt trucks to do their jobs safely and efficiently.
If you're a non essential driver, please STAY HOME and STAY OFF THE ROADS until the storm passes and the roads have been properly treated.
